Demount/mount Encoder

Question

Hi!

I'm trying to change my encoder HEDS 5540 but I've problems to remove the old one from the motor (EC 22 powermax 120W).

Is it possible to remove an encoder once it is placed? Is it easy to mount an encoder or do I need special tools? Do you have any tutorial for both situations?
