ACS55 Series from ABB
The ACS55 Drive is simple to buy, simple to install and above all simple to configure and use. The device can be easily integrated into existing panels, replacing contactors and motor starters due to its compact size. It is ideal for new installations wherever energy savings of small AC induction motors is desired. The deign is aimed at various applications, particularly exercise training, gate control, pumps, fans, conveyors, packaging machines, X-ray screening machines, material handling, ovens, powered roof ventilators and heat exchangers.
The units are able to be DIN Rail or wall/panel mounted alowing for even more flexible application options.

The optional ACS50-POT potentiometer has two switches in addition to the potentiometer for drive control; start/stop and forward/reverse.
The ACS50-POT potentiometer does not require any external power source.
