Open Hardware Summit 2012 is Thursday!

The 3rd annual Open Hardware Summit is this Thursday in NYC.  I'm very excited to attend after missing last year.  Recent developments with MakerBot's licensing should provide for a healthy debate of the role Open Source can play in growing a business.  The schedule is packed with interesting speakers like Chris Anderson of DIY Drones and Wired.  There's also a full line-up of project demos in the evening.

Anyone else going to be attending?

In previous years, the talks have been streamed live, but I'm not sure about this year yet.  I just tweeted at OHSummit to check.  I'll be tweeting during the Summit and will write a recap in the group blog here once I get back.

UPDATE: @OHSummit tweeted "There will be streaming. We'll post the link on http://summit.oshwa.org and tweet it."

Cheers,

Drew

It was great meeting up, I had a lot of fun. There were great talks, food was good, wonderful projects being shown off, and great conversation all around, although I thought Bunny would be a little more…

    Next year should be great.

Great to meet you, Sheldon.  Wish it wasn't quite so loud at that after party so it would have been easier to converse (does that make me sound old image).

It was good to see Bunnie, even if he wasn't quite IRL:

Likewise, the party was quite loud and it was hard to hear.
