Making a AVR 8 bit microcontroller USB programmer from scratch.

Hi im Pablo.

Im insterested in create a avr programmer for an specific model called atmel8952. The thing, i dont know how to start... i've see a usb converter chip called FT232R... and i've watched the 8952's datasheet i saw a part talking about UART which, as far as i know, is a comunication protocol.

I could use any information, links etc.

I've put my eyes on that tutorial... But when it goes to the 8051 part... I don't know It just gets confusing... I'll try my best to watch it again... Thanks anyways.
