Easy bluetooth code

Hi,

I'm an amateur arduino enthusiast. I've recently bought an arduino uno board and a seeed studio bluetooth shield. I cannot find any good websites to teach me how to code the bluetooth shield so I was wondering would anybody here be able to help me. I was wondering would anybody have a code to turn on a led when bluetooth is connected and switch the led off when bluetooth is disconnected. I'd really appreciate any sort of help.

    In the instructions you seem to have only 3 lines of not connected Rx/Tx and connected

    If you connect the Status Pin to A1 on the Arduino using the switch specified you can then periodically detect the status of that pin and know if you are connected or not
