what is the type of capacitor on the attach file? can you advise for the equivalent value on other capacitor?

    Hi Mark, It is possibly a 100nF capacitor (axial ceramic, resin dipped). They don't usually fail in normal use, unless visibly cracked, so it is very unlikely that it needs replacing. Anyway, if you really…

    Hi Mark,

     

    It is possibly a 100nF capacitor (axial ceramic, resin dipped). They don't usually fail in normal use, unless visibly cracked, so it is very unlikely that it needs replacing.

    Anyway, if you really want to swap it out (I wouldn't recommend it though, unless you've good reason to suspect it), this 100nF capacitor100nF capacitor would be a reasonable replacement.
