I noticed this article on the web today and while the article itself seems to be on the up and up the picture that the author chose to highlight the article makes me laugh.

Does this remind anyone else of the back to the future flux capacitor. Also note the poorly, misaligned, 40 year old relays to the left and the SCRs to the right that are not connected to anything. It seems you can't tell the public about some really cool science any longer without a sprinkle of pseudo science on top to make it go down easier.
