If anybody can help me identify what this component (with part number) is it would be greatly appreciated !!!!

 

It might be a High Power Infrared Emitter?

    Is it a passive component, or is it accidentally in the wrong group?

    Do you have dimension details (even if inaccurate ruler measurement) and an end-on view photo?

    Also, for context, what device was it extracted from, what is the history of it? A photo of the

    location on the circuit board, and component reference marking on the circuit board would help too.
