I noticed this article on the web today and while the article itself seems to be on the up and up the picture that the author chose to highlight the article makes me laugh.

 

Does this remind anyone else of the back to the future flux capacitor. Also note the poorly, misaligned, 40 year old relays to the left and the SCRs to the right that are not connected to anything. It seems you can't tell the public about some really cool science any longer without a sprinkle of pseudo science on top to make it go down easier.

  • Well, it would help if you linked the article (e.g. by pasting the link, using the link button in the editor toolbar, or highlighting some text, hitting Ctrl+K, pasting the link and clicking Insert).

    Or perhaps, insert a screenshot or image by pasting or uploading as an image by clicking the picture icon in the toolbar.

     

    For now, I'll just have to go on my imagination based on your description ... but alas, stock photos are almost always cringeworthy.
