Cellergy Super Capacitors - New At Farnell

Cellergy are committed to bridging the gap between batteries and conventional capacitors.

 

Cellergy have developed a small footprint, low Equivalent Series Resistance (ESR), high capacitance Super Capacitor - capable of storing relatively large amounts of energy. This energy can drive an electronic circuit by releasing high current pulses, a feat that batteries alone can hardly achieve.

 

Cellergy Ltd. is part of the Israeli PCB group. Cellergy was founded in 2002 and manufactures electrochemical double layer capacitors (EDLC), utilizing its own proprietary process based on screenprinting techniques. Sometimes known as supercapacitors or ultracapacitors, these products may be coupled to primary and rechargeable batteries, expanding their power and life expectancy. The primary applications for Cellergy supercapacitors are in digital and portable electronic appliances.

 

Cellergy was founded by Joel Lang, based on his unique insights into the capabilities of screenprinting for the mass production of electronic components, and his development of unique patented processes for wet process application of the screenprinting technique and lead by Menachem Gilad as CEO. Cellergy's 1000 square meter manufacturing site is situated by PCB in Migdal Haemek, Israel. Cellergy's R&D center is situated in Rishon LeZion, Israel.

 

Cellergy’s proprietary manufacturing process utilizes a proven screenprinting technique, ideal for inexpensive high volume production. Although current production uses off-the-shelf materials with multiple sources, development is under way of unique proprietary materials that will further enhance and improve performance in next generation products
