What Resistor Feature Do You Consider Now that You Didn't Think About 10 Years Ago?

  • I recently considered using resistors as a way to heat a small project.

    Which also had me dealing with another feature of resistors that I had never thought of much in the past - wattage ratings.

     

    By using resistors, I could include the (small) heat source on the same PCB as the rest of the circuit.

    I think you just have cracked cooling problem of iron man suit in upper atmosphere. He might have used this resistor setup to heat up the suit. imageimageimage
