element14 has been talking about polymer capacitors a lot in the last few months. Before we talk too much, we thought we would give Community members a chance to show their stuff. We wrote a 25-question quiz on polymer capacitors for you to take. Have fun!

    How is the quiz taking? Okay, I wrote the quiz, while one of our VCPs,   James Lewis, proofed it and offered some suggestions. I'd like to thanks James for helping me.

     

    I learned a lot writing and researching the quiz questions. So, I had not intention of creating a difficult quiz, but I do want to cover a lot of points that I thought would require some thought. I also had in the back of my mind that more of our design engineers will be specifying polymers in their BOMs, due to the possible shortage of other types of capacitors, so I wanted to help them improve their knowledge.

     

    I also created a separate document that included my sources.

     

    Heads Up This is just the beginning,

     

    In the nexct two months, I will be rolling out other kinds of polymer capacitor content. There will be videos, a case study, a webinar, and I will have a project-build contest. Stay tuned.
