Sharp is attempting to release "in the near future" the Intelligent Power Conditioner (IPC). This system manages household power from various alternative energy sources and the grid. LEt say the house is only fitted with solar panels, all energy is stored from the day of solar activity and shared in the house until depleted. This is part of Sharps "Eco House" concept, the next generation reducing overall energy consumption. In conjunction with battery packs, the IPC can deliver 8kW (4 kWh of energy) for, say, charging an EV. Sharps looks to improve the system. And energy companies talk about raising prices.
