Using a Zinc-oxide material, Fujitsu, has developed a way to make/print power supplies onto any flat surface. The Zinc-oxide is used as the high breakdown voltage material for the power transistors used in the power supply design. Using a indium-gallium-zinc-oxide material to protect the transistor's channel, a 100V breakdown voltage was achieved. Since the transistors can be printed onto a copper substrate, heat dissipation is less of an issue, and cooling costs are reduced. However, we will not see this tech in the market until 2015. 5 years is a really long time, Fujitsu, but good job.
