A basic clarification with reference to Lead Acid batteries [specifically Exide's 150Ah/IT500, here in India], I would want to clarify based on the battery chemistry and characteristics, what is the ideal charging Voltage and Current (hence the waveforms) for optimal charing of the battery, because the Inverter/ UPS Spec's do not explicity mention this Spec and this is quiet important to enable a Customer to choose the correct battery rating for optimal functionality or expectations of the system.
I just want to know of the contemporary topologies used in charging circuits and circuit techniques and some IC devices available and considerations unique to desiging a Solar panel (12V) based charger circuit.
