Hi!
I may have made a crucial mistake when design a DC-DC converter recently. I designed a ZETA converter but the gate driver I chose for my transistors, the TI LM5113, says that it is for half bridge and synchronous buck converter topologies. Though the device says that it if meant for those topologies, I don't quite see why the high side drive or other functionality wouldn't work in a ZETA configuration. Do you think this part would fail in a ZETA topology? Is there some way that I can augment the circuit such that the device will work with a different topology?
I really appreciate any thoughts or suggestions. My project and deadline are coming up very soon
