Hello,

I need to design led driver with this below specification .Please help me to find out circuit for this.

1

INPUT VOLATAGE RANGE

70-140 VDC / VAC

2

OUTPUT VOLTAGE

15 VDC

3

OUTPUT CURRENT 1

3 Amp

4

OUTPUT CURRENT 2 (WITH DIMMING FUNCTION)

  1. 2.5 Amp

5

SURGE PROTECTION

  1. 1.8KV, 1.2/50 µsec

6

WORKING TEMP

0°C to 85°C

7

PROTECTION :

Short circuit

  1. 7.1

open circuit

  1. 7.2

reverse polarity input

  1. 7.3

over voltage

  1. 7.4

under voltage

  1. 7.5

EMI / EMC PROOF

8

OUTPUT WATTAGE

15VDC X 3 AMP = 45W

Thanks .

    Hi Chirag,

Welcome to element 14. I have been watching your post to see if anyone would try to answer you. I have a few questions for you. Why are you designing this power supply as opposed to looking for an existing supply? What have you done to this point to effect a design? Do you have some specific questions related to your design process? The design of a power supply like this is a complicated time consuming process and most people are going to be reluctant to get involved in it without a better understanding of the whole picture. I hope we can get some dialog going here for you. Once again welcome to the forum. I look forward to getting to know you better going forward.

    John
