I am looking at the following bundle on Amazon
SmartiPi Touch case for The Official Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen Display - Adjustable Angle $27.99
Raspberry Pi 7" Touchscreen Display $64.00
Element14 Raspberry Pi 3 B+ Motherboard $38.90
And I want to make it portable, something I can take and use anywhere. I was thinking maybe a USB power bank, as the Pi uses a micro USB power adapter. But the official adapter is 2.5A and the case comes with a USB splitter to run the display and Pi off of the same adapter. Hopefully that means the bundle is designed to run at 2.5A or less. But, regardless, as far as I know, the most I've seen a USB bank advertise it puts out is 2.4A, so a little short. Was watching a video on Youtube from LGR (Lazy Game Reviews) who stated he found anything less than the official adapter he ran into problems, and he was plugging the HDMI port into a tv unlike my idea. (video here) So I was wondering if I could parallel two 2.4A ports and under drive both of them at 1.25A, roughly, to run the entire mess off a single 2 port power bank? Or... I am going to be talking out of my butt here so if it sounds like gibberish, I am guessing at this point, which is one of the reasons I am posting here to find out from the experts, would I need to put in some sort of low power diode to prevent one port from back feeding into the other?
