Seems like I’m always encountering a flashlight (I have probably way too many) that’s either suffered a leaky battery or aluminum/copper corrosion inside. Detailed microbrushing and cleaning of the aluminum case and often a plastic battery holder and it’s contact inserts inside is a pain. I then apply dielectric grease with a cotton swab to the contacts and any aluminum case deterioration.
The Newmark catalog shows many plastic-friendly cleaners, spray-on and otherwise, but which should I order that might be okay cleaning PC boards also?
