Thanks for your reply, John! I was thinking more of the name/type of that charger so I can google it up, It powers the battery of a laser device aimed at healthcare (maybe I should have written that before) I just don´t know where to find it, since the company don´t exist anymore. But I don´t think they made that charger from scratch themselves, it´s probably a  known charger type, thus I am trying to find out the name of it.

Have you tried opening the bottom to see if there is any labeling inside? You are correct there is probably a common mfg for many of these device types and it is in my experience unlikely that you will be able to get any replacement  or service from them even if you can ID them.

    Klaus,

I would not be too sure that the charger base was not also built by the same company that built the laser device.  I worked for a company that built medically approved laser devices.  Each device that we built had a custom built base, as the sizes of the devices (length, diameter, contour of the base, size and location of the charge pins) all varied based on design issues (number and type of battery(s), air flow ports, switches and/or user interface location, etc.).  The size and weight of the device could also have an effect on the design of the base, i.e. heavy devices might have had a heavy base or a larger foot print.

If there is a brand name on the laser device, you might be able to use that name to assist on future searches.

    Best of luck,

    Gene
