I would be interested to see if any one else has noticed the issue. Maybe if you work on RF devices / have a spectrum analyiser etc.

Even some bench PSU's seem to produce more EMI than i would expect.

I am working on adding Ferrite's to all my cables but where does it stop?

You may find that powerline network equipment from you or your neighbours has a large part to play. Those devices (and some are worse than others) put a comb of very wide band RF onto the mains which is detectable a long way from the source.

So-called 'smart motorways' interfere with my sat-nav, and arcade games send my car radio into a frenzy when I drive past some pubs.
