Hi All,
I'm new here and am about to embark on a project that I need a little assistance on.
I'm looking at how to power my projects, which consists of a Raspberry Pi and a 7" LCD touchscreen.
I have been thinking about using some sort of battery, with a Li-Po being the most common one I can see in use in projects.
I have seen lots of charging circuits for Li-Pos however i have not seen any circuits to protect against under-voltage.
On my RC racing quad and 450 development platform, i have a voltage alarm that alerts me as I reach what is considered the lowest safe voltage.
Below this point i understand you run the risk of damaging the cells, and possibly cause a fire (YouTube has many videos on this). This type of alarm is not appropriate in my application and i need a different solution
Are there any charging circuits out there that also provide low voltage protection?
Thanks in advance
Steve
