Lion battery retrofit in snowmobile

By my best estimate, my snowmobile's magneto outputs puts around 15 amps max, I am wondering if my stock chargig system, meant for a lead acid battery would be able to safley charge a Lion battery such as the one in the amazon link below. The puspose of this is 100% based on weight.

 

And yes i am aware of how well the factory battery will work as compared to a tiny Lion, i am only concerned about being able to safley replace it while maintaining a factory(ish) charging system.

    It definitely won't work, because the battery contains no charger. The charger is in the black plug-in component shown in your second link. Your snowmobile's output will vary, and that variation is bad for Li-Ion batteries (i.e. it's not safe). You'd need some charger circuit in-between, and I don't know of any suitable off-the-shelf one, although others may.

    It needs something that will provide the correct current and end-of-charge detection, but I think it may be unlikely to be able to find anything off-the-shelf. What might work ok indoors, may work really badly outdoors, because the battery voltage measurement and end-of-charge detection is critical, and temperature affects circuits and measured levels. For something where charge may be stopped before the battery is fully charged, you might also need to keep count of the estimated charge state. So that's another complication. Also, there's no real specification (no datasheet) for the batteries in the amazon links, so it's all high-risk : (
