Argh! Fell for some of the trick questions. Great stuff though. Worth learning. I still use the video from US NIOSH to teach arc flash protection. It's the personal story of three electricians who were…

I did the arc flash training some years ago, very happy that I work with a maximum of 48V.

Worked as Nuclear Electrical Tech and later became a nuclear instructor at a nuclear generation station.  Gave several Arc Flash courses over the years and enjoyed giving that type of training.  Really opened peoples eyes when they could see one of my arc flash videos in training.  The arc flash study took years before it became mandatory ..   But what a lot of people think .. Arc Flash is only at work ..  I have worked on voltages up to 16.8KV and mostly 480v ... However, if one was to really look into the study and issues in outside of the industrial sector .. a lot of arc flash occurs at home.  Having incoming voltage line of 220vac splitting to 110/120vac in the electrical panel.. A lot of home owners as well as residential electricians have cause numerous arc flashes over the years. Unfortunately those didn't have safety protection like you would at the work place. So how did I do on the test...  I will admit I could have done better at first .. Not being up on the latest on some tags and LOTO devices ..is what tripped me.  After a little research I found my answers and max the test.  For those that have not had NFPA 70E for years or those just starting out.  There is a lot of information out there about Arc Flash and knowing your distances and PPE for protection.  Great Quiz and really enjoyed it ...   Good to see others providing feedback on the quiz ..   Good Luck Everyone!
