I've always been turned off by the cost of entry for most robotic projects. This was the inspiration for the Cardboarduino Robot. I planned to stretch my SketchUp skills and I did. I wanted to build a robot out of cardboard and I did. What I didn't expect was to enjoying so much learning from the mistakes of my first prototype and re-designing it. I didn't expect my "Mark II" to be orders of magnitude better than the "Mark I" parts. There were many discoveries and I'm sure there will be many more in the coming weeks. I've documented my progress on YouTube: Cardboarduino Cardboard Arduino Robot Carbot Series Part 1 - YouTube. I hope you enjoy the videos as much as I did making them. All of the project files are available at https://github.com/linhartr22/carbot. I invite you to show off your "Robot on the Cheap".
