I was at a recent local Robotics Event and someone there said she had seen the TI-RSLK that I had on display at last years Mini Maker Faire in Rocklin, CA and it apparently inspired her to purchase one to teach the kids she works with for STEM education. She also mentioned that a local college, UC Davis, is using the TI-RSLK in their Robotics program. After some searching for this, I found there is a STEM program sponsored by UC Davis geared towards under privileged kids that uses the TI-RSLK as a platform for the NATCAR program. Each team is matched with an Undergrad student from UC Davis to assist the team navigate through the online curriculum. This is a really cool program and a great way to get kids interested in Robotics that may not otherwise have access to such a program.
