The line said in Star Wars, “We don’t serve their kind here” seemed rather cruel, especially when it came to our two favorite droids. Now a new restaurant in China has droids to serve ‘our kind’, and they do it quite well. While the Dalu Rebot Restaurant in Jiang has human chefs working in the kitchen, the eatery boasts two robot receptionists and six robot waiters. The restaurant is laid out in a circular pattern with white lines painted on the floor that the robots follow whether it’s leading you to your table or bringing your food. The robot themed establishment is a concept design from The Shandong Dalu Science and Technology Company, and while the restaurant is closing in about 16 days the company plans on opening a chain of robot restaurants in the near future.
