Hi,
We are planning to develop an RTU device to be used in medium voltage industrial environments.
When i research some about this topic, there are couple of hardware tests for industrial equipments. Such as;
- Radiated immunity,
- Radiated emissions,
- Conducted immunity,
- Conducted emissions,
- Electrostatic discharge (ESD) immunity,
- Burst immunity,
- Powerline dip immunity,
- Powerline surge immunity,
Also there are lots of international standarts for such devices to used in this kind of environments. Such as;
- IEC 60870-5-6 Guidelines for conformance testing for the IEC 60870-5 companion standards
- IEC 61850-3: General requirements
- IEC 61850-10: Conformance testing
- IEC 61000-4-2 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-2: Testing and measurement techniques - Electrostatic discharge immunity test
- IEC 61000-4-3 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-3: Testing and measurement techniques - Radiated, radio-frequency, electromagnetic field immunity test
- IEC 61000-4-4 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-4: Testing and measurement techniques - Electrical fast transient/burst immunity test
- IEC 61000-4-5 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-5: Testing and measurement techniques - Surge immunity test
- IEC 61000-4-6 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-6: Testing and measurement techniques - Immunity to conducted disturbances, induced by radio-frequency fields
- IEC 61000-6-2 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 6-2: Generic standards - Immunity for industrial environments
- IEC 61000-6-4 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 6-4: Generic standards - Emission standard for industrial environments
- IEC 61000-6-5 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 6-5: Generic standards - Immunity for power station and substation environments
- IEC 61000-4-12 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-12: Testing and measurement techniques - Ring wave immunity test
- IEC 61000-4-16 Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) - Part 4-16: Testing and measurement techniques - Test for immunity to conducted, common mode disturbances in the frequency range 0 Hz to 150 kHz
- IEc 60068-2-1 Environmental testing - Part 2-1: Tests - Test A: Cold
- IEC 60068-2-2 Environmental testing - Part 2-2: Tests - Test B: Dry heat

I am not an expert on this subject. I just want to find best and optimized method to obtain just the neccesary information about this subject, not more than that. I need and expert suggestion about how to proceed? Thank you in advance.
