Robotics and VR

very new to the forumn and an absolute novice in embedded MCU programming.

 

hooked on the idea of implementing a robotics/VR project. where do i start from. can the 2 be combined. I have been reading up on the beagleboard from TI which comes with the DM3730CUSADM3730CUSA DSP.

 

it's a mammoth project and any tips will be greatly appreciated.

    The combination of robots and virtual reality is the basis for telepresence activity.

    You are correct in seeing that field is wide open.  You can already see robots working in field doing surgery, deep sea exploring, search and rescue, area surveilence and much much more.

     

    So if you have an idea, share it, you will probably find others looking at the same project, or who might be intriqued by your idea to help you get started.
