DAACM24 feiliure any body who knows why

Hi Guys,

Any body can give me a good explanations to why this Relays are burning. I have an yrgent case where 12 DAA51CM24DAA51CM24 Relays have burnt on a Ship. all 12 are burnt out and i am trying to find out why?, could they be a poor quality of the material used for the Relays or could they be a greater underlaying problem on the ships electrical wiring?. Please help if you can, bay the way these relays are controling Deep well pumps on LNG carrier.

    Let me start off by saying that I have very limited usage knowledge for these but I have some questions. Is the LED indication showing when powered? Also, did these just stop working or is there signs of physical damage on them?

     

    Also the odds that a whole bank would fail would be very rare but not out of the question. I would recommend monitoring both the control voltage and the switched voltage and current cause my first reaction would definitely be some kind of spike.
