Can we assume that you want advice about "Energy Harvesting"?

Thanks for posting to the Robotics group discussion space, also known as a discussion forum  (not an email).   Another way to say it is that you made a post on the  e14 message board.

    William

It was my impression that studying involved research and solidifying the learning you have, rather than finding someone on the internet who might be able to answer.

If was that easy I could have degrees in all sorts of things.

Have you seen the zumo robot that uses the KL25z board yet.??

asik:  Newark offers several ICs to help with that goal.  Step up and power management are other terms you can search for.  I am not sure where the best place to look complete solutions might be.  I would check youtube first.

    Hi Asik,

When you ask a general question, then it is very difficult for us to provide you with useful information.

For best results, define your problem and set up a list of specific questions that you need answers.  In short, you need to help us help you.

All new projects entail a deep well of ignorance for the engineer.

Part of the project objectives is to teach you how to perform the basic information finding to build your own knowledge base.

Asking others to do that for you does not do you any good.

Initial project research is the skill you must learn to do best if you want to be a successful engineer.

As Mark pointed out, you need to do some web searching and library research to gain enough background knowledge so that you can ask questions that gets you the data you need.

    Just a thought,

    DAB

Here is a kit that uses a ultra low power msp430 microcontroller for energy harvesting.   Maybe it will give you some good ideas.

MarkB: did you have your glasses on?

Yes despite the large monitor, I found moving it closer and putting my glasses on resolved the problems with fuzzy writing ...the monitor wasn't faulty after all.

I'm starting to think morgaine's idea of 48inch located further away is a real possibility.

I though the OP might listen more if it wasn't directed at him.

DAB has reinforced my thoughts  ..... thanks.
