Hello! I am new to this website. I am only 13 and at school, with a limited electronics vocabulary, so please do not rage if I keep asking questions about stupid things. Now, to the main topic. I am currently in the progress of prototyping a robot for kids and adults alike to build their own robot. Kind of like the robot version of one of those 200-in-1 kits. (Amazon.com: Elenco 200-in-One Elecronic Project Lab: Toys & Games) I will post updates to this discussion to document my progress. Hopefully, I can post videos on youtube documenting what I have done. I have tinkered with various parts to get an understanding of arduino and things like sonar sensors, servos, IR light, and motor drivers. What I want to do with this project is to hopefully speed up the progress of this for other people by making an instruction book that will teach you both the hardware and software of . Now to get into the juicy details. I have an arduino uno and several parts that would be needed for controlling, moving, and basically using a robot. What the finished product will hopefully look like is an arduino, surrounded with various female jumper wire heads on the board the arduino is sittig on. With the help of more jumpers, a computer, and usb cable, you can sytart building your robot dream. A list of things that I want to have in use is a : Piezo buzzer, sonar sensor on top of a servo (for looking left and right), bluetooth connectivity, ir sensor, motors, small metal caster, motor driver chip, and more things, I just don't have them in front of me at this time. I will frequently post questions to this discussion and hopefully, one of the millions of people out there can answer my questions. Thank you for your time, and post any questions in this discussion.
