I'm looking for development kit for M2M application prototype. My requirements are CAN bus + GPS + GSM/GPRS.
At this point I cannot find anything more suitable than BeagleBone Black with CAN bus and GPS/GSM/GPRS capes like those:
I thought also about something from TI, like Hercules and some booster acks, but it seems that it would be hard to find all required components.
The most popular chips in CAN bus area seems to be mcp2551 paired with mcp2515, so I also thought about MCP DevKit
but this approach requires to find GPS/GSM/GPRS modules that will work with MCP, so this approach looks like much more
and hard programming, than using Linux based solution. I don't think I need some complicated configuration for prototyping.
What you think about it ? Any other options I'm missing ?
