Measure dimension

Please help me.i am looking for an idea to measure length,width,breadth of a sheet which is 100 meters larger.Length can be measured using ultrasonic sensor. how to measure width and breadth?

    Hi Neepa,

     

    You will need to give us more details of your situation. Does the sheet move or is it static? With what precision does the sheet need to be measured? Of what type of material is the sheet? Are there known dimensional parameters that the sheet will fall within. Are you measuring only one sheet or will this be a production process? These are just a few of the many things that will make a difference in how your question is answered. Give as many details as possible and perhaps some of the guys on the forum will have some suggestions and ideas.
