What technology is being use to help slow, stop, and clean up this mess? Anything new being developed? Often enough, necessity is the mother of all invention. I hope to see what can be thought up in this disaster.
The brightest white areas are the oil spill portions. It's quite large now. The astonaut that took this photo described it as "scary." But that is saying the least.
