How to make a cutting tool with laser diode?

Hello Everyone,

I am in the nut business. We are trying to develop cutting tool using laser to try to cut the shells of various nuts or burn it to increase cutting efficiency etc.

I am a total novice in electronics.

I am looking at using a 25W laser diode (osram 905NM). Can anyone suggest how to use this?

I need help on how to use the laser,

what circuitry is needed to operate it,

what precaution have to be taken to safely operate it.
