Bit high, especially when there are alternatives like mBot that were sold for 49USD (kickstarter price) with more sensors, a decent chassis and expansion capabilities: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1818505613/mbot-49-educational-robot-for-each-kid/description

To be honest (I don't know the price of this device) this is already something more complete, can do things more than just moving for itself.
