Application

 

OLFLEX-FDRegistered 855 P cables are especially high flexible oil resistant control- and supply cables special for use in power chains, automatic manipulators, in permanently moved machine parts, also for long travel lengths and high speeds. They are for use in dry, damp, wet rooms and outside. Usage on motor drum guidance or under a strain of more than 15 N/mm2 is not allowed.

 

OLFLEX-FDRegistered 855 P cables are increased oil resistant and at room temperature generally resistant against acids and caustics solution. The outer sheath of Polyurethane is resistant against high mechanical abuse, particularly to abrasion cuts, microbe-proof and hydrolysis resistant. The used materials are halogen-free.

 

Design

 

Conductor - bare copper, superfine wire strand acc. to IEC 60228 (V DE 0295) class 6 Design

in support to HD 21.1381 (V DE 0281-13), HD 22.1081 (V DE 0281-10).

 

Core insulation - TPE (Thermoplastic Elastomer).

 

Core Identification in acc. to EN 50334 (V DE 0293), black cores with white numbers with green/yellow ground conductor.

 

Outer sheath - Polyurethane-compound TMPU in acc. to HD 22.1081 (V DE 0282-10), additional

flame retardant and halogen free.

 

Electrical properties at 20°C

 

Nominal voltage 300/500 V

Test voltage 3000 V AC

  1. range flex. use -40 up to +80° C max.. conductor temperature

 

Mechanical and thermal properties

 

  1. bending radius flex. - use 5 x cable diameter

Flame retardant in acc. - to IEC 60332.1 that is V DE 0482 part 265-2-1

Oil resistance in acc. - to V DE 0472 part 803 test method B

Tests in acc. - to VDE 0472 and IEC 811-x.x that is V DE 0473

EC directive - This cable confirms to ECD 73/23/EEC (low voltage directive).
