Sensors & Transducer Education

I'd like to get some feedback from fellow engineers: what kind of informational, entertaining, or educational content (blog posts, white papers, downloads, videos) would you like to find on the internet surrounding the subject of sensors and transducers?  Is there anything in particular you've never been able to find that would be helpful, or simply intriguing?  Any subjects that are of interest?  Any formats that seem to be lacking in the engineering space?

The problem with this question is that it is far too broad: Sensors range from coils of fibre optic cable (used with a LOT of other bits to make gyros) to limit switches that you can connect directly to…

One of the tricks in today's low-power mobile world is to turn off CPU resources that are not being used and then bring them out of hibernation in a few microseconds when needed. This "power only when needed" trick is desirable for sensors and analog circuits as well, since they can consume significant power. Assuming you have something like a piezoresistive bridge pressure sensor which has an analog gain circuit plus a 4 pole anti-aliasing filter, how would you design the sensor and signal conditioning circuitry to be able to turn on and stabilize the analog signal to 12 bit accuracy in a few microseconds - ready for when the processor has woken up and starts taking readings?
