Anyone know a good sensor manufacturer?

Hi!

I'm looking for a custom sensor manufacturer. I want something made that looks and acts similar to a pressure sheet but i want it to respond when a secondary object comes within a certain distance. Thank you new friends!

You aren't going to buy this off the shelf. Why not use a standard pressure pad sensor an a separate proximity sensor. What are you trying to do - how accurately are you trying to estimate the position…

(BTW there are no sensor manufacturers who make everything - you need to find the right one for the kind of sensor you need.)

The secondary object needs to get a response at about 2 - 4 inches. Then activate an LED. Power source could be disposable or rechargeable. An extremely crude example would be a laser tag vest. It has the sensors then lights up when contacted by a laser. Instead of a laser, this would activate within a close proximity to an object. Thank you so much!!
