Hi,
I would like to build a remote sensing system (spectrograph) using LED receptors. I know this is a quite inexpensive solution, but how efficient is it? Will I be able to acquire a reasonable resolution in order to differentiate among various types of chemical substances within the air?
I need the system to do sky monitoring and determine the pollution in a medium.
I've also come across spectrographs using CCD cameras, but I think these require lenses to decompose the light beam.
Thanks!
