Looking for high temperature pressure sensor with 4-20mA output

DaveMcLaughlin

I am looking for a pressure sensor capable of working in ambient temperatures of up to 125 deg both the pressure port and the electronics/body section.

I've found a few that can do this. Some expensive but most of the ones I have found are too big. The limitation is on the body dimensions. Length can be anything but the max diameter is limited to 25mm.

Accuracy is max 0.15% for 2000 psi range bu ideally 0.1% is referred.

Calibrated across the full temperature range. Most of the ones I have found are max 80 deg C calibration so are well out at over 100 deg C.

    Thanks Douglas,

I've seen them and they are a fantastic price but the width across the corners of the nut is almost 27mm. I'd have to redesign the housing to use these and we are already at the max diameter we can work with.

The second issue is that they only compensate for temperature up to 85 deg C. I really need compensation to 125 deg C.

I might contact them and see if they could offer a special version. I'd be willing to pay more if I could get them to make the nut smaller and compensate over the full range. I don't need negative temps as these would be at a fairly constant high temperature.

Have you checked the EFE series like PHP160, PHE100, PHT100, PHT160?

    or Schaevitz P900 series?

    or Variohm EuroSensor EPT1400 ?

Loads of high temperature options with EFE and the ETM range looks promising. Upper temp is only 120 deg C but this might be acceptable by the client. I'll drop them an email.

    Thanks for the information Douglas.
