Apple watch, yawn, yawn, Same as others have already done but with a sprinkling of apple magic dust and a silly price tag. Any one who spends $17,000 or whatever on the fancy one with exactly the same…

Lauren Is this really wearable technology or a thinly veiled advert for itoy. Some of the functions work standalone, but you need a iphone in order to achieve everything. Is it possible to modify the code…

    Hi Mark,

Thanks for these screenshots! Very interesting how the noisy bar disturbed the sleep pattern enough to disrupt sleep for the remainder of the night too.

Perhaps even small tweaks to lifestyle due to patterns identified by the fitbit could improve sleep, rest, exercise.

I'm quite tempted to get one now.

This was the day we went to Auckland.

When you go to sleep you tap them .... but it doesn't seem to put you to sleep ...image

It changes the sensitivity to detect arm movement, which means your sleep is disturbed.

This is a relatively 'normal' night.

This was in AA with a really noisy bar outside playing until 3am

Is it any wonder we weren't feeling very flash the next day ... and we had another night to go.

I'm currently more likely to get a fitbit I think - the feature set looks great, and a lower price. I'm thinking the fitbit 'Charge HR' model - anyone have this? It may motivate me more to go to the gym!

I like the fact that it vibrates to alert on phone call, and small/thin so it is not conspicuous/can be pushed under a shirt sleeve, since none of these new devices are really fashion items. And battery life for the fitbit seems just-about acceptable.

    Very true mcb1

There are smart watches on the market with a more open ethos.

Recently purchased a Pebble. Looking forward to playing with the development SDK. image

Is it possible to modify the code to suit other uses ... maybe, but there are also android devices around that you can wear and interact with your phone.
