The free cloud, inspiring creative minds, enables the perfect storm
by adding web connectors for your favorite products
Los Gatos, California: Oct 14, 2014: goHACK.me is designed to address one of the biggest issues facing product designers, entrepreneurs and hobbyists today - ‘How to easily demonstrate products working with cloud connectivity without investing huge amounts of time and resource needed to support the required infrastructure’.
goHACK.me, by ACKme Networks (www.ack.me) is a free-to-use cloud designed to offer engineers a cloud-based sense and control solution to easily enable demonstration of concepts and ideas before investing in a full commercial solution.
While goHACK.me is designed to only offer a limited and non-commercial service, the team at goHACK.me took the additional step to help demonstrate and pioneer the much needed cloud-to-cloud connectivity required to truly embrace a fully connected ecosystem. Built in to the goHACK.me cloud service are a number of web connectors allowing for connection to 3rd party clouds such as Nest. The Nest web connector allows users of ACKme evaluation boards, such as the Mackerel (AMW004-E03), to control their Nest thermostat by adding simple rules within their account such as: If Mackerel board button 1 is pushed, set temperature to 55 degrees.
Engineers looking to set up simple device relationships via the cloud can do so by creating a gHm account at https://goHACK.me and acquiring hardware, such as the Mackerel.
