People prefer Wireless Power
The results of the "2012 Engadget Awards, Readers' Choice" are in. 280.000 people voted online for their favorite products in categories such as laptops, digital cameras, and smartphones:
- 58% of the votes go to smartphones with integrated Qi support (Google Nexus 4, HTC 8X, HTC Droid DNA, and Nokia Lumia 920).
- 22% of the votes go to phones that support Qi with an aftermarket battery door (Samsung Galaxy Note II, and Samsung Galaxy S III)
The Nokia Lumia 920 is the clear winner in the category "smartphones". Overall 80% of the votes went to Qi phones.
