From now on it is possible to submit your application for the Bluetooth Breakthrough Awards in four different categories:
- Breakthrough Products—entries for products launched in 2013 and available for purchase
- Breakthrough Applications—entries for software applications launched and available for download in 2013
- Breakthrough Prototypes—entries for products and applications in development but with a workable prototype
- NEW: Breakthrough Students— entries from students and which must be in concept or prototype format for consideration. Entrants must be actively enrolled high school, college-level, or post-graduate students.
Finalists will be announced at the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. Winners will be announced by the SIG at 2014 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain.
