I've read a few articles recently about the future of WiMax and LTE. Intel for example has denounced the mobile phone operators for that lack of support for WiMax, as they attempt to recoup investment in 3G but other reports such as from research firm In-Stat suggest that WiMax and LTE are likely to co-exist.
WiMax may have a head start in deployment over LTE, but if there is a preference for LTE from Mobile operators, is WiMax likely to survive?
