Two 2.4GHz rubber ducks I tested today appear to have a better SWR when articulated (bent at their joint). I wonder if the antennas are matchined when bent or if some of the power couples to my equipment. It tried doing it on a cable, though, and got similar results.
Why would SWR improve when the antenna is bent?
