I'm working on a wireless to CAN gateway design that will utilize Maxstream's XBee modules. The application will be in an environment where there can be a lot of other RF sources. We had a previous generation wireless control out in the Las Vegas area that didn't function reliably because it's signal got swamped out by other RF sources. We were using the default channel 12. In our new design we would like to negotiate other channels based on signal strength (absence of interference). Has anybody attempted similar goals?
