Best way to send audio ?

Hi there,

I'm new on this place so first I would like to introduce myself, I'm studing hardware designer engineer and I don't know so much about cominucation and processing.

I would like to develop a system who transmit and receive via wireless low frecuency audio signal, the receiver should play those sound and both have to be portable. I'm looking for the best and cheapest way to do it and it seems to be tons of diferent choices, so I think the best way to learn is asking to the experts of this comunity.

I have the analog signal and I have to send it and then play it on the receiver, with headphones.

My requeriments are:

  • Cheap.
  • Low power
  • Royalties free.

If someone could lend me a helping had I would be very grateful.

Thanks.

Bernyn

Use this Bluetooth transmitter and your favourite set of Bluetooth headphones and your all set.

There are all sorts of wireless headphone and speaker options out there. You can get setups that work over Bluetooth, RF, or IR. Each of which have there advantages and disadvantages. So consider the effective range you want to have between the headphones/speakers and the transmitter. If you want to do this all from scratch and make it a real learning experience there are all sorts of transmitter and receiver modules out there that can be adapted to work with your hardware. Just be prepared for the cost to be higher then buying a ready made solution.

Thanks a lot, I will keep looking for a system from the scrath I know that I will be harder than the prepared one but I'm here to learn image

The range is short, a room no more. So I think I have a lot of choices there, another thing is the data rate, It must be at least "CD quality".

I've seen the wireless audio purepath from Texas Instruments, anyone has worked with it?

Has info on it that may be worth reading.

    Cheers
